A Word from Our Programming Chair
Planning the NANETS Multidisciplinary NET Medical Symposium is a year-long collaborative effort made possible through the dedication of volunteer leaders committed to advancing education, research, and patient care. We asked 2026 Symposium Chair, Dr. Mintallah Haider, to share a few reflections on this year's meeting and what attendees can look forward to in Las Vegas.
What has been most rewarding about planning this year's Symposium?
Working with a creative and inspiring committee with a shared dedication to promote collaboration and advancement of the NANETS scientific community, as it leads in the advancement of research and treatments to best serve our patients.
What are you most looking forward to in Las Vegas?
The NANETS agenda offers an unparalleled opportunity for learning and updates, and I always look forward to the sessions. What is equally important is gathering the community to allow discussions that lead to new collaborations in research and patient advocacy. Hearing about the work done over the year after these connections are made highlights the importance of the NANETS Symposium.
What excites you most about this year's scientific program?
One of our goals was to include basic science and clinical research in each session, and I think this design will set up a more collaborative learning experience.
A message you'd like to share with attendees
We are all excited to hear about and share your accomplishments and contributions to neuroendocrine oncology. The poster session will be a special opportunity to connect for research initiatives. A special thank you to Cassandra Cleare's leadership and NANETS staff in creating this year's exciting symposium.
